Research Description
My research interests include the following topics: boundary crossing probability (first passage time) of stochastic process and distributions related to runs and patterns (scan statistics) in applied probability, and spatial scan statistics and high-dimensional data analysis in statistics. The applications include: bankruptcy prediction, statistical process control, cluster detection and big data (large n and small p).
