Applications are invited for two tenure-track positions starting in Aug 2015. Although ranks are open, the intention is to make one of the two appointments at a level higher than assistant professor. For both positions, the requirements include a doctoral degree or a doctoral degree expected by no later than July 2015 in biostatistics or statistics, a commitment to effective graduate and undergraduate teaching and demonstrated success in research. To be considered at the higher level, applicants must have experience in directing theses and dissertations and be established researchers. Salaries are competitive and commensurate with qualifications. Candidates in any area of statistics or biostatistics are encouraged to apply. The Department of Mathematics and Statistics offers an M.S. degree in Statistics and a Ph.D. degree in Mathematical Sciences.
