Membership is by invitation to students in the upper third of their class who have completed (or will complete by the end of the current term) 12 semester hours in mathematics at the level of calculus or above, with a minimum grade of B. New initiates are entitled to a two year subscription to The Pentagon, the journal of the national organization.
