The NSF sponsored Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) in Applied Mathematics and Biostatistics, a 10-week program, is being held until August 7, 2010. This REU program involves 7 participating students from different universities in USA in meaningful research activities through close interaction with a group of four active researchers (Drs. Hyeona Lim, Ratnasingham Shivaji, Xingzhou Yang, Haimeng Zhang) in the Center for Computational Sciences and the Department of Mathematics and Statistics.
